Abstract: In this 9:32-minute video, students will learn some of the rule systems of language that children need to master to develop strong oral language skills and the important role that preschool teachers play in modeling language and providing a language-rich environment in the classroom. Clips of teachers and students learning together in an early childhood setting are included.
