Abstract: Jonell Von Alstyne, a Title I preschool teacher in Denver discusses how she uses the iPad, Promethean Board, and iPod Touch to provide students with engaging learning experiences, differentiate instruction, communicate with parents, document skills learned, and build individual child portfolios. Examples of appropriate apps are provided as well as video footage of children using iPads and the Promethean Board.

Integration: This video can be used in classes covering family engagement, assessment, differentiation of instruction, building portfolios, and use of technology.
