Abstract: In this video, Tami Brungard, Preschool Curriculum Specialist in Brighton Colorado describes how she and her teachers use videos for self-reflection. She videos teachers with a small camera, uploads the videos onto a share drive, and gives teachers the option of watching their videos with her or alone. When they watch the videos, they focus on the positives, celebrate the accomplishments of the children, and discuss what they might want to change. Interviews with teachers indicate that they believe the use of videos is an excellent way to assess the level of engagement of their students, if they are participating, and indications that they are learning.

Integration: This video reviews the benefits of using videos for self-reflection on teaching practices.
