Abstract: Although the PACER Center is the Minnesota Parent Training and Information Center, information and links to sources of information at this webpage provide support for families of young children in all states receiving or needing early intervention and early childhood special education services. The menu on the left of the page offers links to parent resources, information on the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP), early childhood publications, national organizations, early childhood E-News, Early Childhood Connection Newsletter, and early childhood text message updates. At this webpage, you will also find the 3:30 minute video The Journey Begins: Learning How to Advocate for Your Child in which a parent discusses how she learned the importance of being an advocate for her child with a disability.
